In accordance with the requirements of the DfE guidance Keeping Children Safe in Education and the Childcare Disqualification Requirements – Disqualification under the Childcare Act 2006, Governance Connected undertakes all necessary safeguarding, safer recruitment and vetting and barring checks for all personnel who work with Governance Connected on a self-employed basis. This includes Enhanced DBS Disclosures for eligible roles undertaking Regulated Activity.

As our personnel are self-employed, we direct them to relevant Safeguarding training which we offer to governors within the schools we support; and to the newly released Keeping Children Safe in Education updates annually. Our professionals log their training and confirmations via their profiles on GovernorHub and these are checked at least annually to ensure compliance.
